SATURDAY, JANUARY 24th, 12pm to 2pm
 
A monthly knitting class where students start a different project each month with instructor guidance and support. This is the FIRST CLASS where students will learn knitting basics and create a wash cloth.
 
Our instructor, Sarah Unsicker, learned to knit when she was 10 and has picked it up over and over, through the years, as her time permits. She recently moved to Vermont and looks forward to being part of a community of fiber aficionados.
 
January 24th, 12pm to 2pm - Dishcloths
Varigated cotton yarn (Peaches ’n’ Cream)
Size 8 needles (round or straight)
Technique: Basic Knit Stitch, Increase, Decrease
Discuss: Yarn tension, different fibers, muscle memory
 
You can bring your own knitting needles if you have them, or we can supply them with the yarn as well.
