Local Vermont Fiber artist Veronica de Saint Phalle is announcing a new Three-Part Workshop at Vermont Creative Works in Morrisville, VT. 
 
Yes! This is your chance to discover the beautiful and meditative “art of tatting.” Tatting is a rare fiber art that turns thread into lace.
 
The three part sessions are guided patiently with Veronica. The first session is the basic of tatting, the second session is going beyond the basics, and the third session is creating a couple pieces to bring home with you…your very own keepsake.
 
This workshop is perfect for beginners, or those who wish to brush up on tatting skills. It’s very relaxing once you know how to make a slip-knot. It’s a hands on escape.
 
The kit will be provided… includes a shuttle with bobbin and built in hook, thread, and a tatting book-in a nice bag.
 
The goal is to guide students into the process of a couple finished pieces that they have created to take home.
